[/vc_column] [vc_column width=”1/4″] 2017 was a remarkable year for EUFS, our team size expanded massively, and our presence was solidified within the University. Our hard work was starting to get acknowledged by both students and academics, thus interest towards us grew. Attempts were made to make the society more welcoming by having more team meetings, CAD workshops and hands-on experience for newcomers.
After the bitter end of FSUK16, we decided to build the EUFS17 car from scratch, revamping all previous designs, one major decision was to purchase a new engine – Kawasaki ZX-6R.
FSUK 2017 was the first year in which we competed in all dynamic events. Although we did not score well, it was only our second year as a class 1 team and we were pleased with our progress that we could build on.
